Please note that if a certificate has been issued, an account is already held which contains the details of your original certificate to revalidate. If a new account is opened, this will not hold the previous certificate information and will not allow you to complete a revalidation application. This will also slow down the process of applying for your revalidation which will not be able to be done until the account has been merged by The Nautical Institute.
